WHAT: disABILITIES Expo, A Day for People with Disabilities to Explore New Possibilities

WHEN: Saturday, May 7 2011 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

WHERE: Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, Fort Wayne Indiana

The disABILITIES Expo 2011 will showcase:

  • Higher Education
  • Home Design

  • Mobility and Transportation
  • Prosthetics and Orthotics
  • Rehabilitation and Therapy
  • Travel

Why attend the disABILITIES Expo 2011?

  • The event is FREE! In 2010, the Expo attracted over 1,500 people!
  • FREE workshops will address the issues facing people with disabilities and their caregivers
  • FREE blood pressure and other health screenings
  • disABILITIES Expo 2011 will include a fashion show, sports demonstrations, an art exhibit and more!
  • Over 75 exhibitors participated in the event in 2010, with more expected in 2011.  Expo exhibitors will include companies providing services for children and adults with physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities, vision and hearing loss, senior citizens and caregivers.
