Hi folks. Welcome to “Accessibility Minute”, your weekly look at Assisitive Technology—those clever tools and devices designed to help people who have difficulties with vision, mobility, hearing or other special needs.
Parents of children with disabilities, especially with newly diagnosed disabilities need information. Federally funded by the US Department of Education, the National Dissemination Center for Children with Disabilities provides a number of informational resources. With information for newly diagnosed children, a blog with timely and up-to-date information, a listing of national organizations that provide services to children with disabilities, the organization’s web site is a very valuable resource Visit www.NICHCY.org to learn more.
