Hey there! Welcome to Accessibility Minute, your weekly look at Assistive Technology, those clever tools and devices designed to help people who have difficulties with vision, mobility, hearing or other special needs!

For children with autism or other special needs, planning activities and daily tasks can be quite challenging. Anton Håkanson, founder of DayCape, understands this firsthand as he was diagnosed with autism as a young child. He has thus developed the app to make activity planning less intimidating.

DayCape is designed to be used as a planning tool, where friends, parents and teachers can help plan the day for one or more individuals. Activities can be added on the DayCape website, then will automatically upload to the app on an iPhone or iPad.

Users can then log in to the app with an ID and password, and view what activities are planned during the day. Other features include:

– Visual colored time tracking
– Ability to take photos or choose from DayCape Library
– Ability to manage multiple users in the web tool
– And more!

The app is available to download for free on the App Store. To learn more, visit DayCape.Com.
