Fleksy, an iPhone keyboard for the Blind

The app Fleksy is an autocorrect app that is powerful enough to know what you meant to text, even if you aren’t looking at the screen. Today thousands of blind and visually impaired users can type faster and easier than many sighted people because of Fleksy. The app aims to revolutionize the way people think about mobile devices and to challenge the traditional barriers in touch-screen typing for everyone.

Featuring Syntellia’s patent pending technologies, Fleksy uses the familiar QWERTY layout. The company says it’s “probably the most powerful text prediction engine out there.”  Fleksy allows users to type text on the familiar keyboard layout, by tapping on the screen. You don’t have to type perfectly accurate -Fleksy will automatically detect the text you meant to enter. It will autocorrect even if you missed every single key.

This revolutionary app has been featured in Forbes, TechCrunch, Engadget and PC World. You can download Fleksy for the Apple App Store.
