Hi folks. Welcome to Accessibility Minute, your weekly look at Assistive Technology -those clever tools and devices designed to help people who have difficulties with vision, mobility, hearing or other special needs.

Some kids with disabilities benefit from those hard-to-find pieces of assistive technology equipment and eSpecial Needs searches the world for those innovative products. eSpecial Needs is a company started in 2002 in St. Louis, Missouri by a parent of a son who was diagnosed with Autism. The mission of eSpecial Needs is “to make life easier for parents, more enriching for children and more enjoyable for the entire family.” The company sells thousands of assistive technology equipment for kids with all different types of disabilities.
