Hi folks. Welcome to “Accessibility Minute”, your weekly look at Assisitive Technology—those clever tools and devices designed to help people who have difficulties with vision, mobility, hearing or other special needs.

Do you have low vision?  Do you enjoy board games? In many areas of the world, that winter cabin fever is setting in.  Have you avoided playing your favorite games with friends and family because of your vision?  Many folks don’t realize that there are large print versions of Scrabble, Chess and Checkers, Playing Cards, Bingo, Rummikub, Dominoes, travel games and more. Don’t let the need for large print keep you from your favorite games.  Check our show notes for a few links to learn more about these accessible ways to pass the time.

For more information, to read our blog or to drop us a line, visit EasterSealsTech.com. That was your accessibility minute for this week. I’m Wade Wingler with the INDATA Project at Easter Seals Crossroads, in Indiana.
