Hey there! Welcome to Accessibility Minute, your weekly look at Assistive Technology, those clever tools and devices designed to help people who have difficulties with vision, mobility, hearing or other special needs!
In recent months, I’ve been experiencing migraines at least a couple times a week.  If you also experience frequent migraines, check out the Migraine Alert App on the App Store.
Migraine Alert predicts the frequency of a migraine so that you can try to stop it before it begins.  The app uses a data-science algorithm to create a personalized migraine forecast based on your uncontrollable triggers, such as weather.
After you record about 15 migraines, the app presents you with a personalized migraine forecast multiple times a day.
Features of Migraine Alert:
  • Migraine forecast allows you to take actions to prevent a migraine
  • Weather conditions such temperature, humidity, pressure, and more are automatically tracked in the background
  • Migraine history allows you to track, edit, and share your migraines with your physician
  • Information is anonymously stored
