Several children enjoy screen time nowadays, but physical activity is very important for their development.  Physical activity improves social and cognitive skills, all while boosting self confidence.

Here’s more from their website:

“Let your child pretend they are a busy bee as they climb on these Honeycomb Climbing Panels. Climbing provides proprioceptive input, promotes core strength and also strengthens the hands, arms and legs. Following a climbing break and a good workout, kids can show improved focus and attention to task. Kids develop their motor-planning skills as they decide where to place each hand and foot as they ascend the wall or scale it horizontally.”

  1. I agree that it’s so important to find ways to get kids moving, especially with so much focus on screens these days. My niece has a similar climbing setup, and it’s amazing how much her coordination has improved. Speaking of finding resources, I recently stumbled on a super useful free APA citation tool when I was helping her with a school project about the benefits of play-based learning.

  2. I agree that getting kids away from screens and engaged in physical activity is so important. My nephew loves climbing, but sometimes the images I get of him from my sister are in WebP format and I can’t easily share them. Speaking of which, I recently found an easy way to convert WebP to PNG so I can actually post those memories.
