With school being back in session soon, students might want to consider downloading the AI notetaking app Jamworks. More than a notetaker, this is a “learning companion” that’s able to answer questions, make flashcards and simplify classroom material — just like a classmate or tutor.
First, Jamworks records an entire class lecture, allowing students to focus on the material in the moment, knowing they can review detailed notes later.
The transcript of the lecture is far from the thick block of text you may expect. Jamworks breaks it up into topics or chapters, and it also provides bullet points. You can engage with the chapters as video clips, audio highlights or text notes.
The AI chatbot feature is what makes Jamworks a true “study buddy.” It can help users understand the classroom material in a variety of ways. They can ask specific questions about certain topics, or they can request for the chatbot to explain something in a particular way, such as in a metaphor or story.
