Welcome to Clinical Assistive Technology at Easterseals Crossroads. We are glad you are here!
Assistive technology is about helping people with disabilities achieve better living. Technology is often the difference between independence and relying on others for the simplest of tasks.
Our assistive technology specialists work one-on-one with individuals to determine the appropriate assistive technology to meet their needs at home, work, school or in the community.
Meet two of our clients who share their story and personal experience working with our team.

- The Assistive Technology Center at Easterseals Crossroads provides services throughout the entire state of Indiana. Our mobile professionals are able to bring the appropriate technology directly to a person’s home, school or workplace.
- Referral to Evaluation: Once a referral form and funding have been secured, evaluations are typically performed within two weeks. We do, however, prioritize referrals based on the need with Job Accommodations taking the highest priority.
- Evaluation to Report: After an evaluation has been completed, the subsequent report – that contains a detailed list of our findings and equipment recommendations – is typically sent to the funding source within two weeks. Based upon the priority of the case given by the funding source the turn-around time may be reduced.
