The RollerMouse Red Offers Relief

The RollerMouse Red offers pain relief.

While working on a computer may seem like a low-impact activity, a desk job can still be physically demanding. In fact, 80% of computer users report some form of repetitive strain injury (RSI) symptoms — tingling wrists, sore shoulders, tight necks, etc.

Say hello to the RollerMouse Red. This solution from Contour Design allows users to keep their hands in a more natural, centralized position and rest their wrists on a soft pad while typing. They control the cursor with the patented rollerbar placed directly in front of the keyboard, eliminating the harmful reaching and gripping required to use a handheld mouse. The rollerbar enables users to work with an open, relaxed hand.

The built-in copy/paste buttons make for quick, easy transfer of text or images between programs, and you can set the buttons up to make other shortcuts as well. Other buttons include a cursor speed button of 10 different speeds, a button to scroll up or down a page, left and right-click buttons, and a double-click button.

The RollerMouse Red

The RollerMouse is a proven pain reliever and productivity booster. As longtime user David Helmly wrote: “After feeling numbness in my wrist from daily trackball use, I discovered the RollerMouse and was amazed at the control it gave me. I’ve been using it daily pain-free for nearly 10 years now and have never looked back.”

The RollerMouse Red is currently available through INDATA’s Equipment Lending Library. For more information about this device, check out our Monday Tech Tip video or click here.
