The INDATA Project at Easterseals Crossroads takes in donated computers received from donors through our Equipment Reuse program. These computer’s are wiped of all previous data, refurbished, and given away for free to individuals with disabilities in the state of Indiana who have no other means of obtaining a computer.
Anything that cannot be used, is recycled with Technology Recyclers to assure that the waste does not end up in a landfill and is recycled appropriately.
We visited their facility so we could learn more about their recycling process.
